Pursuing The Prize

In August 2008 some of the world’s best athletes in the world gathered in Beijing, China for a chance to represent their country and possibly to win a medal.  As we watched the competitions and heard their stories we couldn’t help but be motivated to reach further and try harder in some aspect of our lives.  In the Bible we find several inspirational passages from the athletic world that will encourage us to develop our relationship with Jesus.  You are invited to look at a few of these passages in  this 4 week series called “Pursuing The Prize.”
