Health & Safety Precautions
At Grace Community Church we are committed to sharing God's unchanging message of forgiveness, healing, and hope in whatever ways we can. In order to gather safely for worship services and to slow the spread of contagious diseases we are asking for the cooperation of our church members and our community in following all public health guidelines.
Here is a glimpse at what what plans and protocols we have put in place for our Sunday morning gathering.
Health Screening—An 18” x 24” sign will be posted outside the main entrance instructing anyone with a fever in past 72 hours, respiratory symptoms, or possible COVID-19 exposure to stay home and join us for our online service.
Stay Safe Seating—The number of seats in the worship area has been reduced, and the seats have been arranged so that family groups will be 6 feet apart.
Face Masks— People are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines and to wear a face mask in public setting where physical distancing is not possible. While a cloth face covering is not intended to protect the wearer, it may reduce the possibility of asymptomatic individuals spreading the virus to others.
Sanitation / Ventilation—The building will be properly sanitized before each service and hand washing stations are available in the foyer. In addition, our entire AC system is equipped with fresh air exchange plus a best in class Plasma Air filtration system that helps to reduce and treat airborne particles on a regular basis (https://www.plasma-air.com/how-it-works).
Offerings—People may continue to give offerings online or through the mail. If you wish to make an offering in person, you may place your gift in a locked drop box on your way in or out of the service.
If you have any possible symptoms or if you just feel safer at home, please choose to worship with us online. A live stream broadcast of the sermon that will begin around 10:55 am. You can visit www.facebook.com/exploregrace or https://exploregrace.freeonlinechurch.com/live to watch live or you can view previously uploaded sermons on our website (ExploreGrace.com).
