Our Beliefs

We believe that...

  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God and it is the final authority for faith & life.

  • God desires to have a personal relationship with every individual He has created.

  • All people need to turn from sin and trust in God's grace alone for salvation

  • Jesus Christ is true God and true man who gave His life on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world

  • The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin and He also comforts and strengthens believers as they seek to grow in their faith

  • Eternal salvation is available to every living human being on earth by God’s grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone

Our Heritage

We are a diverse group of people committed to a Christ-centered expression of the Christian faith.  We combine the core beliefs held by most Protestant, Evangelical, and Lutheran churches (such as "scripture alone" and salvation by "grace alone" though "faith alone" in "Christ alone") with a contemporary format and a vision to reach out to all in the community.  We also “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” knowing that “there is one body and one Spirit---just as you were called to one hope when you were called—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4).  Those wishing to become members are asked to embrace sound doctrine and exhibit a living relationship with God through faith in Jesus

Our Affiliation

We are an independent local church affiliated with a national group of grace-oriented churches for support, accountability, and joint mission projects.  During its 100+ year history this church body has maintained a strong emphasis on personal witness, Christian education, youth ministry, and world missions.  As a result we have numerous sister churches in Cameroon, Chad, Japan, and Taiwan.

We also network with pastors from other Wesley Chapel churches for fellowship, encouragement, sharing resources, prayer and support.  We meet together monthly and participate in joint services and community events together.
