The Alpha Course

Alpha is an 11-week opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith for our lives today. It is a  non-denominational introduction to the core truths of Christianity with an emphasis on practical application to daily life. The style of Alpha is informal, friendly and non-pressured.  No matter what your background—whether you are just starting your faith journey or you want to grow closer to God and others— you will get a lot out of an Alpha Course.

Each week people meet together and there is a video presentation on topics such as "Who Is Jesus?", "How Does God Guide Us", and "How Can I Be Sure Of My Faith?"  After the talk you will divide into smaller groups to share refreshments and to discuss your  questions and/or reactions from the talk. There may also be an opportunity for a mini-retreat midway through the course.  This retreat can be a key part of the Alpha course and a great success in helping people get to know each other.
